what happens when you mix fifteen year scotch and sparkling blueberry lemonade

the trip to dallas what about what you would expect: meetings with extended family members at least twice a day, making sure that outfits were spaced appropriately apart in between visits and that the french your father wanted you to know in reference to random wines and humble dishes from obscure regions “sous paris”, and revealing at appropriate times that you’ve “temporary lost passion for science” and now you’re thinking about art schools in new york. there were shoulders, tenderloins, wellingtons, flambees, puttanescas, maches, wines as gifts from friends who had recently traveled to northwestern italy, the west coast, france, andorra, siberia, THE EASTER ISLANDS!!!111….

it was a lot of fun. i saw the people i wanted to and met a few more awesome ones.

i wish i could write all of my secrets on this thing, but it’s probably best not to.
